The wines must be made in accordance with the aforesaid wine standards, which include having been produced: a) by a member winery of a provincial wine authority who has paid the prescribed application fee, b) entirely from grapes grown in the province in which the wine is made and whose legislation or regulations permit or authorize the use of the mark; c) from grapes which meet a quality standard for each variety, as measured by the natural sugar content in the ripe grapes, d) with no water added in the winemaking process, e) with truthful and accurate labels applied to the wine bottle, and f) in compliance with minimum wine quality benchmarks as evaluated through laboratory analysis.
