| Description of Mark | The mark consists of of the word "KATY" in the color black, in all capital large block print centered above the word "TEXAS" in the color black. The word "Texas" is approximately 75% smaller than the word "KATY," and also presented in all capital block print. The phrase "ENERGY GROWS HERE" in the color black is centered below the word "TEXAS," at approximately twice the spacing that exists between the words "KATY" and "TEXAS." The phrase "ENERGY GROWS HERE" is approximately 50% the size of the word "TEXAS," and is also presented in all capital block print. The three dimensional effect is created using a black shadow on the left and right arms of the triangle and a white highlight on the top curved edge of the triangle. The circular shadow cast by the teardrop is a gradient circle from grey fading at the center outward to white. |
