| Description of Mark | The mark consists of three concentric circles, with the outer-most circle being comprised of small triangles with a common flat side facing in towards the center, and the two inner-most circles being immediately adjacent to each other and each being comprised of a single thin line. Between the outer-most and middle circles, the words "IOWA ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ASSOC." are displayed, with all letters being capitalized, "IOWA" being centered on top, and the remainder beginning to the left of the "I" in "IOWA", and continuing in a circular motion between the rings such that "ASSOC." approaches the "A" in "IOWA". To the left and right of "IOWA" is a singular triangle, identical in shape and orientation as those which comprise the outer-most circle. The interior element of this logo is broken into four quadrants, with the boundaries being defined by the inner-most circle, a horizontal wavy line, a vertical line extending from the center of the logo to the top of the inner-most circle and having nine, equally spaced squares with the left-most edge abutted against the line, and the silhouette of an oak tree is centered along the axis which bisects the left and right inner-most logo components, and has a height of approximately the radius of the inner-most circle, with the base of the tree abutting to the bottom of the inner most circle. The upper left quadrant of the interior contains the silhouette of a dinner knife, dinner fork, and dinner spoon, with each extending out from the center of the logo and the handle end nearest the center. The upper right quadrant utilizes seven, equally spaced rectangles, with their long axis being oriented along a line extending through the center of the logo, having their short edges abutting to the inner-most circle, having a width equal to the length of one side of one of the triangles comprising the outer-most ring, and being approximately forty percent of the radius of the inner-most circle in length. The triangles, letters, circles, oak tree, rectangles, lower right quadrant, and negative space surrounding the knife, fork, and spoon, are all of solid fill and the same color (not defined by this description). All other space within the boundaries (to include a thin line allowing for the delineation of the right edges of the oak tree's silhouette) of this logo are to be of a solid color contrasting with the fill color (not defined by this description). |
