Trademark Statements
Indication of Colors claimed | The color(s) red, white, blue, yellow, black and silver is/are claimed as a feature of the mark. |
Description of Mark | The mark is a British styled coat of arms of the type used by the British royalty, aristocracy and knights of old Great Britain; consisting of alternating red and blue flowers on its left and right sides, with dashes of black lines running at various points; which depict folds and separation of flower petals. One of the most prominent features, centermost in the mark, is a red shield with a red background, shaped like an inverted bell with another smaller shield in its center, also in the shape of an inverted bell, painted a checkered design of yellow and blue squares; each blue square is solid blue and each yellow square contains a set of five black dots (one dot in each of corner of the yellow square and one dot in the center of the yellow square). The innermost shield has nine horizontal rows and eight vertical columns of alternating yellow and blue squares. The two outside vertical columns terminate in the middle of the column such the each column contains three left sides of a square. The bottom rows taper off to shorter rows as the shield tapers to a point at the bottom of the shield. The inner shield is surrounded by eight yellow lions, surrounding the innermost shield, on the red background of the outer shield; the lion in the upper left corner is almost totally obscured (only a part of the lion's foot is visible) by a white colored square bearing five black stylized vertical figures (one in each corner and one in the center of the white background). On top of the outer shield sits a silver knight's helmet (from a suit of armor), facing left, having a red vertically curved red stripe that runs from the bottom of the face plate to the bottom of the helmet where the helmet meets its shoulder collar; the collar is the same silver color of the helmet's top and appears designed to protect the occupant's shoulder. At the collar's place of contact with the helmet is a red stripe that wraps around the base of the helmet (as far as visible). The collar has a white edge and a red necklace type of stripe between the bottom of the helmet and collar's edge. The helmet's top has a red and blue horizontal decoration (usually made from colored cloth) with alternating colors of red and blue (three of each color). The face plate assembly appears to be two parted and hinged giving it the ability to swing vertically open and closed; its bottom half is grated with four vertical vents that vary from relatively long to short from left to right, apparently for breathing. The top half of the face plate has a single curved triangular opening for vision; both halves jut leftward on the mark into a sharp point. The top, upper side and top rear (right side) of the helmet has black intermingled flourish lines. The helmet's rear has short vertical black lines ranging from its top down to the edge of the collar and terminate at the collar's edge just before the white stripe of its edge. At the base of the entire structure described above, separated from the shield combination, is a white horizontal banner, furled inward on each end; in its center are inscribed the words, written in a blue old English font, "House Of Richmond". |
