| Goods and Services | Drift Day is an event or program for drivers to learn or perfect the driving skill known as drifting in a controlled environment such as a parking lot or race track; Drift Day is normally a 10 hour event spanned over one day (usually on a weekend); The program consists of an organizer, instructors and numerous volunteers that assist with setting up a course, flagging drivers and resetting cones (pylons) that may have been displaced by a vehicle; The program may vary depending on the driver's skill level or track layout; Track layout will always be dependant on space, surface condition and possible obstacles such as a light pole; Three essential turns must be created at each event; A skid pad area is an area for a vehicle to perform a constant "donut" turn around a single placed object such as a cone; A j-turn(s) is a single turn in a shape a "J" that a driver will try and negotiate with their vehicle; Finally, it is a course for a driver to utilize all their abilities from both the skid pad area and j-turn; A Drift Day must consist of specific items at each event; Traffic cones are essential part of a Drift Day; Cones laid out in a specific manner will determine the course for every driver to negotiate; The design of a course must be laid out by a course designer specifically assigned by the staff at Drift Association LLC; Another aid for the course is with the use of chalk; Chalk is used to create and aid the cones to create a temporary course layout; Flags must also be used at specific location of course that is determined by the staff at Drift Association LLC; Flagging is performed by an individual who will stand at a designated corner and will wave a yellow flag when a vehicle has spun out or knock over a cone(s) which may get in the way of the next driver; All drivers must pay a fee in order to attend a Drift Day; Registration is normally handled prior to the event |
