Certification Mark Statement | The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the goods/services provided have been produced in accordance with the tiered set of standards outlined below. Vegetables, Fruits, Nuts, Grains, Spices, Herbs, Teas, Seeds Bronze - The growing operation must include the presence of at least one species of supporting animal on a rotational grazing program supplemented with certified organic feed. A minimum of three individual species must be grown on at least 25 percent of the total farmed acreage and these crops must hold at least three of the seven strata. The farm must have a written plan for minimizing mechanized topsoil disturbance. Any irrigation present on the farm must be kept in good working order consistent with the best practices in the region. The farm must have a regularly scheduled compost application on at least 25 percent of the farmed acreage. Silver - The growing operation must include the presence of at least two species of supporting animals on a rotational grazing program supplemented with certified organic feed. A minimum of five individual species must be grown on at least 50 percent of the total farmed acreage and these crops must hold at least four of the seven strata.
