| Description of Mark | The mark consists of a representation of a field hockey player in navy blue holding a field hockey stick, which is red, on the left side of the mark. The representation of the field hockey player has a solid circle at the top, representing the head of the player. Below the circle is an inverted teardrop shape, which is open on the bottom half of the right side of the teardrop. This inverted teardrop represents the arms of the player. Continuing from the end of the right side of the inverted teardrop shape is a check mark shape, the bottom of which is rounded, to represent a field hockey stick. This field hockey stick appears in red. On a parallel with the red field hockey stick is a diagonal line, which comes to a point and has a shorter, thicker line extending from the point to the right. This shape, in navy blue, represents the body and legs of the player. On the right side of the mark is the acronym "USA" in navy blue, block lettering. Beneath "USA" appears the phrase "FIELD HOCKEY" in all caps in smaller, red block lettering. |
