| Description of Mark | The mark consists of a circle with two bands at the outer edges, one narrow and one wide and solid. The solid, wide band includes the words, "U.S. Department of Commerce" within it across the top of the circle and "Economic Development Administration" within it at the bottom of the circle. The interior of the circle includes a variation of the Great Seal of the United States, an eagle looking left holding an olive branch in its left talon and thirteen arrows in its right talon, but the eagle has a shield on its chest with horizontal stripes at the top of the shield and vertical stripes on the lower part of the shield. An outline of the United States rests behind the eagle, and three stars sit above the eagle and three stars below. |
