| Description of Mark | The mark consists of a shield, said shield including four components. First, a bottom irregular and symmetrical generally heptagonal shape having a central dark area for text and six stripes on either side of said central dark area. Second, a middle irregular and symmetrical generally hexagonal shape immediately adjacent said bottom heptagonal shape. Said hexagonal shape includes central square-shaped area having a circular central area that is ringed by a larger circle with the words "Ohio Highway Patrol" located between the two circles and each of said words separated by two stars; four generally triangular shaped features located between the said larger circle and each of the corners of said central square-shaped area; and two polygonal shapes adjacent either side of said central square-shaped area each including two spaces defined by two horizontal stripes, said two spaces including vertical stripes with two diagonal stripes superimposed thereon in the shape of an "X". Third, a middle irregular and symmetrical generally nonagonal shape with a length greater than its width and having a central dark space with the word "Trooper" therein. Fourth, an irregular and symmetrical approximately pentagonal shape including a series of vertical stripes and one horizontal stripe that approximately bisects said pentagonal shape. The shield's components are arranged as follows: said bottom heptagonal shape is spaced at the bottom of the shield; said middle hexagonal shaped is spaced immediately above said heptagonal shape and immediately below said middle nonagonal shape and is wider than said heptagonal shape; said nonagonal shape is spaced immediately above said hexagonal shape and immediately below said pentagonal shape and is wider than said heptagonal shape; said pentagonal shape is spaced immediately above said nonagonal shape and is the narrowest of the four components. Said shield also includes an eagle shape immediately above said pentagonal shape with said eagle shape including wings that are adjacent said nonagonal shape. |
