| Description of Mark | The mark consists of a circle narrowly bordered in dark color with a light color in the center of the circle. From inside the bottom of the circle, left and right hands, each clenched with index and little fingers extended, are pointing upwards. Between the hands is a star, and to the right of the right hand are two stars of different sizes. From the 8 o'clock point diagonally upwards to the 2 o'clock point is a silhouette of the neck of a musical instrument like a guitar. From the guitar neck a silhouette of a palm tree extends up beyond the circle. Across all the design and extending beyond the border of the circle at the 9 o'clock to the 3 o'clock positions is a ribbon-like banner with the ends folded under and then projecting out from under the banner. The ends of the ribbon banner are cut in modified Vs. On the banner are the words "The Sunset Strip". At the bottom of the design and outside the border of the circle are the words "Half Marathon" running close to the border, circularly, from approximately the 8 o'clock point to approximately the 5:30 o'clock point. |
