| Description of Mark | The mark consists of three concentric rings the innermost of which is wider and has the words "THE RICHARD STOCKTON COLLEGE" and a pair of mirror image sprigs of laurel inside the filled in ring on opposite sides of that ring and the words "OF NEW JERSEY", a curved semicircular banner in the interior space defined by the innermost ring, the banner being at the bottom of that space and including a pair of symmetrical opposite folds and the words "AN ENVIRONMENT FOR EXCELLENCE", a pair of curved mirror image laurel sprigs forming an approximate ring with the banner at the top of the space, a crest in the middle portion of that space divided into quadrants, the diagonally opposite quadrants being either filled in or empty spaces, a left upper quadrant in a filled in quadrant has a lion, the empty quadrant to the right of the lion has a book and a flame at the top of the book and an element at the book bottom, a tree is in the lower left quadrant and a bird is in the lower right quadrant, in the crest in the center is a box having a portion inside each of the quadrants with a design inside and a banner overlapping the bottom of and extending outside the box featuring the year "1969". |
