The words "The Lupus Phoenix Society" are superimposed on the large green shield. The words "The", "Lupus" and "Society" are white in fill color with black outlines. The word "Phoenix" is white in fill color, with consecutive bordered edges that radiate outward in color from black, green, yellow to orange. Also superimposed on the large green shield is a smaller shield that gradates in color from light blue top left to darker blue bottom right, with a circle on top; the circle border color is yellow on the top left side and orange on the bottom right side, with a green center.
