The word element "THE" is located in the center of an oval which overlaps the center of the banner. The banner is in the shape of a rectangle with the point of each of the four edges of the rectangle removed. In the background of the mark is the image of two overlapping pears contained within a circle. One pear is in the forefront of the other pear, and the bottom, right corner of that pear overlaps the circle surrounding the pears. Both of the pears have stems attached to a single set of leaves; the leaves overlap the circle surrounding the pears. Within the circle element are numerous thin horizontal lines appearing behind the image of pears.
