Trademark Statements

Indication of Colors claimedThe color(s) black, blue, light blue, grey, & white is/are claimed as a feature of the mark.
Description of MarkThe mark consists of a rectangle with an approximate ratio of 1:5.5. The text (SPACE-ART) appears just slightly right of center to allow room for the illustration (RINGED PLANET) and incorporates a shadow on the right side of text. The text is white in color, and in upper case. The rectangle consists of a double gradient (Black to Blue), approximately 10% of the left and top areas are black. The type is located in the lower 2/3rds of the rectangle. The illustration is forced to the extreme left to allow a small gap of separation between the right edge (Right Ring) and the type. The main differentiation from other similar logos is the "THE RINGED PLANET CASTS A SHADOW OVER THE RING, AND IS VIEWED GENERALLY FROM THE REAR SIDE, WHILE THE ILLUMINATION SOURCE ORIGINATES FROM OFF THE LOGO AREA." Also, the effect of the ring in the illustration produces a pointed curve that points toward the text. The indicated shadow is a 95% grey, while the planet shadow is 100% black. There is also a drop shadow from the ring visible on the lower hemisphere of the planet. .
