Goods and Services | Association services, namely, promoting awareness of military and veteran culture to faculty, staff, and students of educational institutions; Education services, namely, mentoring in the field of supporting new and continuing military and veteran students; Providing courses of instruction at the college level for military-affiliated students — defined as active-duty service members, veterans, reservists, National Guard members, military spouses, and dependents; Career counseling, namely, providing advice concerning education options to pursue career opportunities; Charitable services, namely, providing emotional support services for military-affiliated students — defined as active-duty service members, veterans, reservists, National Guard members, military spouses, and dependents by means of dedicated veteran support services and participation in federal military education programs, state-level military or veteran education initiatives, and the implementation of structured transition support systems designed to facilitate degree completion, high-wage credential preparation, career preparation, and access to supportive resources; Educational counseling services to assist students in planning and preparing for further education; Academic enrichment programs in the field(s) of acceptance of military training and experience for academic credit; Providing emotional counseling and emotional support services for military-affiliated students — defined as active-duty service members, veterans, reservists, National Guard members, military spouses, and dependents; Testing, analysis, and evaluation of the knowledge, skills, and abilities of others for career placement purposes; Charitable services, namely, organizing and conducting volunteer programs and community service projects aimed at increasing support and morale of families of deceased war veterans, war veterans, current members and future members of the United States military |
Certification Mark Statement | The certification mark, as intended to be used by institutions authorized by the certifier, will certify that the services provided have met the certifier's standards as to providing education, training, and resources as reflected by the successful completion of requisite steps and standards in the field of providing educational services to military-affiliated students — defined as active-duty service members, veterans, reservists, National Guard members, military retirees, military spouses, and dependents. |
