Goods and Services | Teaching and training in business, industry and information technology. LearnStat is an online workforce training system designed to deliver real-time results in addressing large numbers of students of all skill levels. This system is licensed to institutions ¿ not individual learners ¿ offering ongoing training and effectiveness monitoring that these types of clients demand. LearnStat consists of two parts: the curriculum and the management system. The LearnStat curriculum sets itself apart from others by combining knowledge of software design to demonstrate ¿ how you do it ¿ with video relating the application of the desired learned content to the experiences of the student ¿ why you do it. Most available curricula assume knowledge of the business environment but many of our training candidates will not have previously worked in an office environment, so supplementing the curriculum with a thorough understanding of the scenarios is critical. The use of engaging demonstration videos and individual interactive labs form a consistent process for providing workforce training to many students. Demonstrations and hands-on labs not only mimic the certification exams, but allow students to practice new skills in a controlled environment helping the student not only learn the information but preparing them to be able to use the information more effectively. The LearnStat management system (LMS) reports the effectiveness of the LearnStat curriculum in real time. Our detailed systems allows different levels of users ¿ administrators, facilitators, and students ¿ to monitor how each course progresses with information tailored to each level of LMS user. For instance, the management system not only identifies which students are participating in the class but also how well they are doing by facilitator, individual student or even by assessment score down to individual questions for each module of a class. The system is also designed to alert administrators and facilitators to any problems with individual students or classes before those problems become too serious. By mining all of the data, in addition to usage, associated with our training modules, LMS gives the client all the metrics they need to diligently manage the effectiveness of their work force development campaign. These metrics will also be used by LearnStat to evaluate and upgrade its offerings on a continual basis so that LearnStat products keep becoming more effective and our client's see better results |
