Description of Mark | The mark consists of The mark consists of a three-dimensional configuration of a manually-operated wood cutting and splitting device comprised of two vertical bars that support a circular-shaped and horizontally-oriented ring that forms an opening at the top of the device. The ring has one side that is slightly higher than the other side of the ring. The vertical bars extend from the ring down to a base, where the base has a horizontal rectangular portion stretching between the vertical bars, and where the stylized wording "KINDLING CRACKER" is on the horizontal rectangular portion. A rectangular support crosssection extends off of the bottom of each vertical bar. Approximately halfway up the device, between the upper ring of the device and the base of the device, is a stationary blade that extends across the width of the device connecting to each of the side vertical bars. The blade curves upwards, and the bottom edge of the blade contains six verticallyoriented and somewhat rectangular inset sections that extend past the bottom of the blade. In the center of the blade is a circle containing the stylized lettering "HAC", where two sections of entwined curved lines extend to either side of the "HAC" lettering. Entwined curved lines extend from the base and up each vertical bar, ending where the blade attaches to the vertical bars. Also, a curved line design is on the upper part of each vertical bar, extending from where each vertical bar touches the ring. The broken lines depicting the outline of the vertical bars, the stationary blade, the insets in the bottom edge of the blade, the ring, and the supports of the device indicate placement of the mark on the goods and are not part of the mark. |
