WALNUTONE
A process in which a selected pattern is pre-printed on a water-soluble, clear film, which is then trasferred to the firearms stock, which has received a base coat that provides a firm base for adhesion of the pattern. The stock is then floated in water to set the film. The final product is then dried in an oven, followed by the application of a clear, protective finish.
