Biochemical and/or biotechnological products, namely, polymers or polymer-biomass composites whereby the polymers belong to the class of polyhydroxyalkanoates for the production of plastics, such by-products being obtained by the treatment, through a biological process, of organic residues from wastewater and sludge and that can be polymers or biopolymers
