| Description of Mark | The mark consists of a rectangular image containing a red border speckled with black; inside the border is a stylized scroll that is pea green shaded. The scroll has tears and weathering and a thin dark green rope that appears to be woven through the scroll in both the upper portions and the lower left corner. In the lower left corner, the thin rope is covered by a representation of a red wax seal with a left facing, from the viewer's perspective) eagle with wings open but not in flight. At the bottom of the red wax seal are two dark green tassels which are meant to be the end of the aforesaid thin rope. In the scroll on the upper center portion is a seal similar to a coat of arms with a red border. The sides of the seal have architectural columns represented. The top of the seal has a red crown; the center of the seal is a shield that is the color of sky blue with a white diagonal stripe going from bottom left to upper right. In said stripe there are three red stars. Bordering the stripe on the upper and the lower are four white birdlike images. Below the seal is a stylized "JEPPSON'S" written in red Old English Text font with a black outline added. Underneath that is "MALORT" boldly written in red in Novarese font and outlined in black. Underneath that, is the word "LIQUEUR" boldly written in red in Navarese font and outlined in black. To the right of the representation of a red wax seal, the following words appear in black: "PRODUCED AND BOTTLED FOR" (in Serifa Bold Cond. Font], "CARL JEPPSON COMPANY, CHICAGO, U.S.A. 35% ALC./VOL.
