| Description of Mark | The mark consists of the letters "GOHFER" appearing in Eurostyle Extended Extra Bold Font. Below the letters are five pillars or bars such as can be found on a bar graph. The pillars appear to be three dimensional, turned so that a corner of each pillar appears to be facing the viewer. Three surface areas are visible: two sides and a top. The 5 bars are placed so that the middle pillar appears to be a corner one in a larger grid. This effect is achieved by placing the 1st and 5th pillars higher in relation to the other pillars. They are also the smallest. The 2nd and 4th pillars are slightly larger, and placed lower than the 1st and 5th. Finally, the middle pillar, the 3rd, is the largest and is placed the furthest down. The side edges of all the pillars are aligned, forming a straight diagonal line. The 1st and 5th pillars have green surfaces. The 2nd and 4th pillars yellow surfaces. The 'edges' of each pillar are black. The middle pillar has a red top surface, and white side surfaces. The white side surfaces are bordered by the same red as can be found on the top. The overall effect of the design is to depict the three dimensional grid that is used in the hydraulic fracture simulator known as "GOHFER". |
