The representation of the diamond as a symbol denotes decision. In business, as in life, we are confronted with a series of choices. Understanding the beliefs of the Anishinaabe Peoples, it represents the decisions each business entity faces when considering the what, the how, and the why of their existence. Each diamond is bestowed its own color with its own significant meaning. The diamond to the right signifies the Eastern direction as identified in Anishinaabe lore. Yellow in color, it denotes the physical journey an individual will encounter as a business entity. The lower diamond signifies the Southern direction as identified in Anishinaabe lore. Red in color, it denotes the mental journey an individual will encounter as a business entity. The diamond to the left signifies the Western direction as identified in Anishinaabe lore. Black in color, it denotes the emotional journey an individual will encounter as a business entity. The upper diamond signifies the Northern direction as identified in Anishinaabe lore. White in color, it denotes the spiritual journey an individual will encounter as a business entity. The one concentric diamond, encompassing all four smaller diamonds, represents diversity.
