| Description of Mark | The mark consists of "Fort Miles" in bold, black capital letters in a curved down style above a gold tower structure, near the top of the tower there is a black semi-circle and slightly below this there are two more black semi-circles. These three semi-circles provide depth to the tower. At the base of the tower there are two yellow cannons that make an X shape. On top of the cannons there is a small raised circular rivet that provides depth to the cannon. This small raised circular rivet is at the bottom portion of the cannon. At the point where these two cannons intersect there is a red oval with a yellow border and in the center of this oval there is a yellow bullet. This yellow bullet has a black line that divides it at approximately the bottom twenty-five percent of it. "HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION" is in non-bold, black capital letters in a curved up style below the cannons. "HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION" appears in a slightly smaller font than "FORT MILES". |
