Encircling the base of the shield is a scroll appearing in the color silver and outlined in black bearing the school motto: "PER FIDEM AD PLENAM VERITATEM" appearing in the color black. The shield is placed on a background of blue and encircled with a red band edged with gold and black borders with the inscription therein: "Fairfield College Preparatory School A. D. 1942" with two designs of crosses between the wording "A D 1942" also in gold. |
