| Description of Mark | The mark consists of 1. An image and;2. a word. A. The "hexagonal" image left of the words "EXETLOS and GLOBAL DEFENSE ADVISORY." B. The words "EXETLOS GLOBAL DEFENSE ADVISORY" are in dark grey scale directly to the right of the image. C. The image is a graphic representation of an impossible figure or optical illusion. It is commonly referred to as an infinite loop icon or an infinity cube and serves as a visual paradox where the object appears three-dimensional but cannot exist in physical reality. The image is shaded in a lighter grey scale and a darker grey scale, the darker grey scale is the same grey scale as the word "exetlos" below the image. Appearance: The image is composed of interlocking, two-dimensional shapes in shades of grey that create the perception of a three-dimensional, impossible object, similar to a variation of the Penrose stairs or an impossible cube. Structure: It features a continuous, ribbon-like structure that appears to weave in and out of itself, forming an endless loop or a nested box shape. Effect: The design plays with depth perception, making it difficult to determine which parts are in the foreground and which are in the background, creating a visually intriguing and paradoxical image. The image's interlocking boxes each have equal width (W) and length (L) dimensions that would create equal surface areas of squares if the boxes had tops and bottoms. Both boxes have equal heights (H). Two times (2x) each H equals 1x the L or W The boxes are arranged on top of each other such that the top and bottom of each box have right angle points that point directly up and directly down. The vertical heights ( 8 heights, four that run through the center of the image, two that run on the left side of each box and two the run on the right side of each box) of each box run at 0 or 360 and 180 degrees north and south if the the image was placed over a compass with directly up being 0, 360 degrees and 180 being directly opposite. Four sides of each box (L x W x H) have the darker grey scale and face either 135 degrees south-east or 325 degrees north-west depending on how the illusion is perceived by the viewer. The other four sides of each box have the lighter grey scale and face either 45 degrees north-east or 220 degrees south-west depending on how the illusion is perceived by the viewer. Over all the image appears hexagonal with the north 45 angled point pointing at 0/360 degrees north and the south 45 degree angle point pointing at 180 degrees south. Since there are tops or bottoms to each box, the image can be placed on a background whereby the background could be seen three places within the image. The first place is within the top half of the image and resembles a thick letter "L" with H, W and L dimensions the second place the same thick "L" shape oriented opposite on the bottom half of the image. Elbow of the "L" shapes are oriented north and south. The third place is directly in the center of the image and is a square with its 45 degree angle points oriented 0/360/180 degrees north and south and 90/270 degrees east and west. |
