The shield is dark green, with a red outline, and a dark green curl extending up from each of the top right and left corners. The shield is decorated with seven semicircular ornaments that are yellow on the left and red on the right. The crown above the shield is composed of a series of wavy dark green horizontal lines and a horizontal line of beading on a yellow ground. The top of the crown consists of five crenelated towers that are outlined in red on a yellow ground, and with a thick red band at the center of each tower. Two curling red flourishes extend from the bottom of the shield, and two dark green curling flourishes flank the shield to right and left. The word "CANARIAS" immediately below the shield is in red letters with a white outline. The ground inside the circular band, behind the shield and the word "CANARIAS" is yellow. In the lower section of the mark, the large word "CANARIAS" is in red letters, with a yellow outline, arranged upon a dark green band, which has a thin white stripe above and below the band. The background on which the various elements of the mark appear is yellow. |
