| Description of Mark | The mark consists of a white picket fence in the background, consisting of eleven (11) vertical, white slats, and two (2) horizontal, grey slats binding the vertical slats together, which are displayed behind the vertical slats (the Fence). Superimposed on top of the Fence, in all capital letters and red font is the following: "AMERICA'S BACKYARD". "AMERICA'S" is a slightly smaller font size than "BACKYARD", and between the two words is a horizontal, red bar that runs the length of "BACKYARD". Framing the aforementioned, two words and the red bar is a thin, white outline around each of the characters. Beneath "AMERICA'S BACKYARD", written in bold, black, cursive writing, which slants slightly to the right, is the following: "Grillin' & Chillin'". These words are a slightly smaller font size than "AMERICA'S", and are also framed by a thin, white outline around each character. Beneath all of the foregoing, is a curved wreath consisting of six (6) overlapping, yellow sunflower blooms with eleven (11) partially obscured leaves jutting out from behind the blooms. The blooms are typical sunflower blooms with many, yellow petals emerging from the center of the bloom, which is a circle colored darker yellow than the petals and with a small green center inside the darker yellow ring. The wreath starts on either side just above the "Grillin' & Chillin'" phrase and dips in the middle so as not to cover any of the words. Beneath the sunflower wreath in bold black writing is the following: "Downtown Fort Lauderdale". The wreath has shading to the right and bottom sides of the blooms and leaves as if a light was being cast on the wreath from a northwestern direction. |
